When it comes to insurance, I definitely have no clue what I am talking about. I am pretty young and inexperienced when it comes to a lot of these financial matters. My husband is slowly teaching me. About two years ago we bought a new truck and our insurance rate for the truck was pretty high so we decided to shop around and get quotes from other insurances.
We ended up switching over to State Farm because it was cheaper. And we go to this guy named Guy Matsumoto, and the service is INCREDIBLE. Seriously, the service is amazing. They remembered our name just the second time we walked into the office. Those ridiculous commercials with State Farm...are almost completely true. One time we needed the VIN number to our car because we weren't near it and they were able to help us out and it took maybe 5 minutes.
And let me tell you, Geico is NOT having it. It's been two years and this company sends us flyers sometimes once a week about how they are sad that we "broke up with them" and that every relationship deserves a second chance.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? I kind of want to call them to tell them to stop sending us mail...but is that rude? I mean...if they were my ex-boyfriend....I would tell him to stop sending me mail on a weekly basis, so what is stopping me from telling this insurance company??
