The last day of 2011!

This is a short little recap of my 2011 year including some things I actually accomplished checking off my bucket list!

I started off 2011 on Bourbon street in New Orleans with my wonderful Fiancé.

Then the very first week of 2011 was spent with the Laccetti family. We met up with them at Disney World!

January 2011 I FINALLY saw Chelsea Handler (aka who I think I am when I am drunk) live while she was in Honolulu on tour.

Also, I saw Minus the Bear and Incubus live, AND got to meet both bands after the show thanks to my wonderful best friend and her boobies!

One of my good friends actually came out to Hawaii to see me!

I even got to go home to visit my family and actually not miss one of my niece's birthday!

I also went on some pretty baller hikes around Oahu...

Ka'ena point

Ka'ena Point

Ka'ena Point

Stairway to Heaven (Didn't get up there, just my husband did...I got to the gate 3 times though!)

Waimano Falls

Manoa Falls

Waimano Loop

I had the most wonderful 22nd birthday ever! Husband got me a set of pink golf clubs AND a kindle (I am spooled), I had my first ever massage, and we went to a luau.

We finally took our engagement photos...

And then bottled our wine for our wedding!

We finally tied the knot! Then went on a fabulous honeymoon on a cruise to Mexico!

Keep in mind, these are only some things I did this year that I got to check off my bucket list! I still have a long way to go, but this was a GREAT year. Hopefully 2012 will be a good year even though the Navy is taking my husband away for most of it (pity party for me!). Watch out 2012! Here I come full speed ahead!

  2. :)

We had to think for a really long time where we wanted to honeymoon. We were going to do it in Hawaii but we didn't want to be distracted because we live here, so we decided a cruise would be the best choice for us.

Don't be jealous I live in Hawaii, there are positives and negatives to every situation, the island I live on is beautiful but expensive and overcrowded! And I miss home a lot!

  4. Wow...good thing you're young...you've got quite a list. I now have one...not what I want to do before I die...but what do I want to do now that I don't work and have lots of time to do whatever I want. My list has to be shorter cuz...well...I'm older....much older than you. What part of Hawaii do you live in? We travel often to North Shore Oahu...friends live there. Tried a couple of times to go to the waterfall above Waiamea Bay...but it wasn't running....weird...like they turned it off. Anyway...you had a super year. Great pictures.

  6. @becky, haha during the dry season a lot of the hiking trails also "dry up". In the winter it rains pretty much everyday. I live in Pearl City, close to Pearl Harbor because the commute for my husband, and now my commute to Disney Aulani on the west side.
@alma, my husband LOVES to take pictures so I basically have a live-in photographer for my life haha
