So what's up with this gel eye liner?

Have you ever used a gel eyeliner before?

I am not a make up expert.  I am one of those people who walks into Sephora or Mac and I am like..."Ok...pretty colors?" and I usually walk out empty handed.  I get so overwhelmed in those kind of stores.  My mom never really showed me how to use make up.  She hardly wore make up herself.

So I wanted to start dipping my feet into the water.  I signed up for ipsy.  If you don't know what ipsy is, you should look it up on instagram #ipsy.  Basically, it's a company that sends you a "glam bag" every month for $10 with a sample of make up.

Last month I got this gel liner pictured above.  Cailyn gel liner.  I was confused.  Ok, so I have always used pencil.  Just a couple years ago I bought some NYC liquid liner because all of my friends were raving about the liquid.  I looked at the brush, watched some tutorials and dived in to the gel liner.


HOLY COW.  Thanks NO ONE for telling me how awesome this stuff is.  It is super easy to apply and it looks WAY better than liquid liner.  So congratulations ipsy, you won me over with this product.

I guess sometimes you really can try something new and be amazed!
